With flu season in full bloom, it is once again time to bring out the chicken noodles soup, Tylenol, and flannel pajamas! But before you prepare yourself to react to the symptoms the flu can bring, here are a few tips on how to prevent the nasty virus altogether! Taking advantage these simple tips will hopefully help keep you and your family from falling victim to influenza.

3. When it comes to cleaning, be sure you aren’t making matters worse by simply pushing germs around. Common cleaning tools like mops, dust rags, and sponges, if not sanitized between uses, can actually spread germs instead of getting rid of them. To disinfect sponges, pop them in the microwave for a minute or throw them out and replace.
