The Crock-Pot is getting a lot of negative press these days, thanks in part to NBC’s This is Us. Personally, I think the Crock-Pot is one of the best kitchen tools out there! For us busy Moms, the slow cooker is sometimes the only way we are able to have a hot, nutritious meal ready for our families after a busy day of work, school and hours of shuttling the kids to all of their after-school activities. And If you’re lucky enough to have a 2 story Crock-Pot, you might even be able to get ahead of the weekly meal planning!
In the winter, my crock-pot takes center stage on my kitchen counter, and the morning breakfast/lunch packing rush often times includes putting in all the ingredients for dinner before I have my morning cup of coffee! Whether it’s BBQ pork chops in the Crock-Pot or simply some soup, when we get home from a busy day, and there’s the hectic rush of homework, showers and bedtime, it’s such a relief to know that dinner is already done and nobody has to ask, “what’s for dinner tonight?”
The Crock-Pot makes dinnertime easy, but we want to make it even easier for you to prepare a delicious dinner for your family. Here are our easiest and favorite slow-cooker dinner recipes.
