Color Showcase: Pantone’s Lovely Winter Blues

Alyssa Hawkins

Pantone said it all when it described this season’s color forecast as an evolving landscape, filled with earthy neutrals and bright hues for a perfect combination of natural and fun. Included in the palette of 10 color predictions are Biscay Blue, Stormy Weather and Reflecting Pond. We have to say, having the winter blues has never looked so beautiful!

Biscay Bay

Inspired by cool tropical waters, Biscay Blue exemplifies serenity.

Get the look: Crafted by the same designer of the best-selling Caravan Medallion rug, Geo Floral‘s icy blues and rich reds are enough to keep your home feeling cozy and looking cool over the next several months.

Stormy Weather

Bold, strong and confident, Stormy Weather is a rich blue-gray that looks as stunning in your living room as it does when you’re wearing it to the office.

Get the Look: Mohawk Home’s Urban Grid rug in Cocoa is one of the coolest new additions from the fall 2015 release. You’ll find strands of Stormy Weather-colored fibers woven into the design. Its Aztec inspired style, distressed details and shag construction give it a look that is perfect for your shabby-chic space.

Reflecting Pond

Classy and sophisticated, Reflecting Pond has grown to be tremendously popular over the last several months, making its mark on the runway and at home.

Get the look: The Button Fleur Mohawk Home rug ties together ivory, gray, pale and dark blue beautifully. It plays well with other color schemes or can simply be the finishing touch to a soft, feminine space.
