I love my dogs. They sleep on our bed. They get premium dog food and treats (but no pizza!). They are family members like the rest of us. But if you want to kick pet parenting up a notch, check out these home goods for the pampered pup!
Of course, the pampered pup needs a special place to lay her furry head.
If you don’t want to buy a fancy bed, you could make one out of a drawer orĀ an old chair, like these:
Or by turning an end table upside down:
A dog needs her beauty sleep, right?
Feeding is also important. Put his food on a pedestal, literally!
All you need are dog bowls and some thick candlestick holders. With the elevated bowls, not only are they fancy, but practical if you have a larger dog. That way, he doesn’t have to lower his head too much to eat, which will help him digest his food more easily.
As for the food, how about special doggie “pupsicles” for the summer?
My dogs would love these after a day in the sun! Rawhide and frozen chicken broth – yum!
This was one of my favorite finds – for the dog trying to keep his figure:
That’s right, it’s a doggie treadmill!
If your pooch has mobility issues, he may need extra help getting upstairs. How about this elevator?
My dogs have read this post now and have demanded some of these additions to our home!
How do you pamper your pup?
Well … our big ole guy, Fozzy, is a Newf/Lab mix and at 140+ lbs, he pretty much gets the run of the place. Our little gal, Gracie, is ONLY 60 lbs, but even so, she’s the boss of things around here. We love em both and wouldn’t want things any other way!
