New Year’s Day Brunch Ideas

Shira Zwebner

A decade has passed since my single days where I’d ring in the New Year from my Manhattan apartment, surrounded by friends, copious amounts of food and tons of good cheer. These days, we do a family New Year’s party where the kids get to wear oversized glasses and party hats, snack on hors d’oeuvres and virgin Shirley Temples, and stay up to watch the ball drop at Midnight in Times Square.

As much as I love getting dressed up and kissing my husband at Midnight on New Year’s Eve, I absolutely adore New Year’s Day. It’s the last day before the kids go back to school and we really make the most of it, starting with a delicious New Year’s Day brunch. From our build your own bagel bar to warm cinnamon buns, we make sure to have plenty of savory and sweet options that the adults and kids all love!

Whether you’re tired from a late night or have already decided to get on with your healthy New Year resolution, you’ll find the perfect fit for you from these favorite New Year’s brunch ideas. Read on!
