Easy Dorm Room Decor: Memory Board

Starting your first semester of college and still not sure how to decorate your room? Dorm rooms are never fancy, and the walls definitely seem like they’re caving in. On top of that, you’re already feeling nostalgic about leaving home, friends and fam behind. No worries, we’re here to help with some easy decor ideas to make your dorm room feel more like home. Here are some nifty ideas to create a room that will keep all your memories alive in the most modern-edged look. Plus, this gives you brownie points for being the most creative freshman in town. By the way, we know you’re a college student so these DIY ideas are definitely cost effiective :).

Creativity might start with “C” but you can pick any letter when it comes to these blocked letters. Print or cut out any pictures you have and paste them on. Then set it on your desk or shelf – this will most definitely be a eye-catching piece of art. What you need: Blocked letter (most craft stores have them), pictures, scissors, glue

Have too many pictures and grand moments? Well, use them to create something awesome on your wall. Since you can’t paint dorm walls, this seems like the easiest way to add some design and flare. Twist and turn your pictures whichever way you want and create your own design. What you need: Pictures, creativity, sticky wall application (check with your school to see which is okay)
