This is the time of year you see them everywhere — fashion, paper goods, home decor. Fresh florals are everywhere you look but how do you incorporate them into your decor without it looking stuffy? Let’s take a peek at some fresh approaches to florals in decor.
Wallpaper is making a comeback. And these fresh prints are not your grandmother’s wall coverings! Think of an accent wall or powder room update rather than an entire room.
Try an alternative floral wall treatment. If you’re not brave enough to go the wallpaper route, try a structured display of a floral pattern on your solid wall. Easy enough to change out should your love of florals fall by the wayside!
Why not an upholstered piece? Maybe upholstering your entire sectional sofa in a floral pattern is too 1990’s, but think about a smaller accent piece, such as a headboard or side chair.
Simple accents that can be changed out are always a winner. Trends come and go and if you just want to stay flexible and limit spending on whatever is trending, use simple accents to freshen your space.

Put fresh florals underfoot. While I love a good graphic rug, the new twists on floral patterns has me thinking about putting floral underfoot.
